    Haro, Kona or what?

anyone any ideas what this might be?

Personally, i'm not sure it is actually a Kona, its been re-painted and new decals fitted,
The top tube and downtube are square at the head end and round at the seat tube end.

i also posted this in The Kona thread but general concensus seems to think it is a Haro.

I Really think its a kona

A 2003-4 Kona scrap to be more specific. I would call kona and like dogonfr said give them the serial number to verify exactly what it is.

Wasnt knocking that heck its a legit question on a frame with 2 brand name decals on it. The funny part is a couple Kona guys are solid its not a Kona and leadpaw comes up with what looks to be a perfect match for a Kona. One person on Kona says the seat stay brace is not Kona but possibly another off brand that uses the same frame manufacture as Kona.

Gonna be interesting to see what the serial numbers have to say.

Yeah it's a good conundrum. I'll dig it out of the shed next week and look at the s/no. The frame alone is light as a feather but looks sturdy.

Are you looking to sell the frames or build them up? Not that im looking for one just a question.

Probably keep it and build it up one day as a jump bike, has that look about it. When I got it, off a lad in work, it was put together as a half arsed jump bike but with broken forks and a knackered bottom bracket, he was going to chuck it in the skip but I rescued it. I'm not into selling, can never bring myself to part with things
