    Flightline SS conversion

Has anybody done this? I have a Flightline S, and it seems that I don't like shifting gears.

Do you think that it would be worth it, or would I be better off dishing out the money for a SS 9r? My budget is pretty measly as a college student.

You'll spend a little money converting it. The most economical route will likely be to space out the cassette on your rear hub and add your choice of rear cassette cog, find a good pair of used SS cranks (since I think the chainrings on the Flightline S are fixed and can't be removed), and run a Singleator.
