I have a FL 29er with some decent upgrades. Been hitting the trails a lot harder and doing some mild down hill. I've maxed out the fork almost every time I go out. Would it be ok to put a longer fork on it? Looking at a 140 or 120 Fox. I know it will slightly change the geometry of the frame but the head angle is only 72deg.
Any change in the head tube geometry will cause additional forces working on the steerer tube, which can be a reason for the head tube being ripped out its place. I'd suggest you contact Haro's support to consult what is the maximum suspension range you can use on that frame...
