Not designed for XC. It will climb, but you gotta be patient with it.

Is it really a mistake? I mean thats what I am trying to figure out as I ride it. Yes its a little bit heavy and what not but handles well, has excellent brakes, grips well with those fat Kenda tires.... so what would you say..you are 20% less efficient with it?

well, to explain myself fully i bought the bike before i knew i would be doing alot of riding up north this season (theres a ton of hills) when i use it for what its ment for i love it. yeah the tires brakes and grips are nice but those are all things that i will be swapping out eventually anyways . as for efficiency, me and my brother raced about out on the road me on the x6 and him on my old hardtail and theres just no compition. In short no it wasent a mistake i love the bike and would recomend it to anyone, ill probably just have to change the type of riding i do to realy enjoy it.
