    Derailleur hanger for Mary XC/Beasley

Just got my new hangers in the mail today from Wheels MFG. They are new in production and soon to be listed in the catalog as hanger #133. No pictures yet. They ought to be available soon from derailleurs.com. My LBS was still dragging their feet on getting them ordered from the warranty dept so I had to take matters in my own hands. The idea of waiting 2 more weeks, and paying their markup and sales tax was more than I could stand.

Giving them their due, my LBS is more of an outdoor outfitter/backpacks and clothing shop that sells and works on a few bikes rather than a true LBS with lots of bikes to test ride, spare parts, and high end components to spend your dough on. Still they are really nice guys even though they are pretty laid back.

Some times ya gots ta do what ya gots ta do to get back on the trail again. It can be frustrating at times dealing with a place that is cool personality wise but cant seem to help the customer properly.

Here is a link to #133 @ derailleurhanger.com for any stick magnets out there.

I ordered 2 der. hangers from derailuerhanger.com for my Haro Xeon. All you have to do is look at them and they bend. I'm not sure If my hangers came from a bad batch or what, but 2 of them bending so easily and right away was kind of dissapointing after dropping about $50.
Can we order der. hangers directly from Haro? I don't have a Haro dealer where I live.

Tha's what I would do. They have always been responsive to me w/ the idea of providing the best service. My understanding is that http://www.wheelsmfg.com provides all of the hangers to the bike companies so what you get from Haro would be one of their hangers anyway.

That's hanger #38. I ordered a couple a while back and they were great. Just got off the phone w/ Dan @ Wheels Mfg. He said OEM hangers may come from a variety of sources and their quality can be vairable. Most all of the dhangers cross referenced on derraileurhangers.com and wheelsmfg.com are manufactured by Wheels and are of high quality 6061 aircraft grade aluminum. So far, I have not had any issues with the quality of either hanger #38 (flightline/xeon, et al) or #133 (mary/beasley). That being said, I am a ore careful rider and try harder to avoid sticks in the derraileur whenever possible. Like you say dropping $50 bucks is a chunk of change. I am also inclined to try and straighten the hanger in a vise before giving up on it totally as well. However, if you shear one off like I did a while back there is not much to recover.
