Beasley BB shell Width and would a Reba 29er fork work?

I am looking into a good deal on a used beasley 1x9. I have another crankset to give it a full range of gears and rigid riding scares the fillings out of me !

    The BB size is 68mm.

You can use a Reba 29er fork on a Beasley. The crown-to-axle length on an 80mm travel Reba is almost identical to the C-A length of the stock rigid fork that comes on the bike.

    Thanks Downhill Jill!

That's awesome! It seems that I can find a used Reba quite easy and already have a 68mm bb and set of cranks! Would a fox 26" fork work also?

We found that some of the castings Fox forks will work with 650B wheels but it's SUPER tight. We don't recommend it and neither does Fox.

X-Fusion Velvet or Velour are 650B compatible and they even advertise them as such. Actually any 26 fork with clearance for a 26 x 2.6 will work fine with a NeoMoto 2.35. I'm using a Rockshox Psylo Race (the Psylo's were designed to clear 26 x 2.7s) on my Beasley and at 125mm trave its the same length as the stock rigid fork.

A Marzocchi DropOff from 2006 clears the NeoMoto but its kinda hefty. Noleen MegaAirs fit them but there's not much mud clearance to spare on the brace. Check the 650B forum and read the fork compatibility thread.
