    2010 Flightline Three

I have a quick question about the Suntour xct v2 forks that came on my my new flightline, i bought about 3 weeks back. I haven't ridden it on anything but sidewalks and streets, and the dust boot/rubber cap on one side slides all the way to the top of the fork, and it makes a high pitch whistling noise when it compresses. I have to push it down after only riding a short distance. Is this typical, or do i have a defective part? So far i haven't gotten to ride a whole lot, just commuting the two miles from home to work and a return trip, but i love the bike. Mostly wondering if it is a sign i should start saving to buy a nicer fork.
I suppose since i bought a closeout from a local bike shop thinking i was getting a deal i really just got last years problem.

    Thanks in advance.

    Call SR Suntour

Call the Warranty Service Center at 360 737 6450 or e-mail service@srsuntourna.com. They should be able to help you identify the problem.
