Whats the go? (Carbon force pro question)

I have an 09 Carbon Force Pro frame that I bought and built up.
When I got it there was nothing in the holes that the derailleur cables run through, so I
have no idea whether they are meant too run a full length outer casing or the what looks too be alloy
plugs in the holes are cable stops or just a guide for the outer cable.
If anyone could let me know what the standard set up is I would appreciate it.

Mine has plastic cable stops in the holes, but I generally prefer full-length housing for the standard shift housing.

If you're using Nokon, then it'd make sense to use the cable stops.
