In May I purchased a 2011 Sensor 1.0 and rode maybe 400 miles on it so far. I know it was probably premature but I wanted to get the pivots serviced just to make sure everything is in working order or if something needs to be replaced it is.
I've already had the LBS do the work so all I'm wondering is if I need to learn to do this on my own for next time because of the cost. They ended up charging around $110 to get both pivots and the BB serviced and to replace the bearings in the pivots, is that what's usually expected for that kind of a job? Thanks, I'm new to the full suspension side of mountain biking so this is all a little confusing to me.
