I have a 2000 GT XCR5000 inherited from my brother that I'm trying to rebuild as a backup bike. Upon tearing the whole bike apart I noticed that the Threads on the I-drive are stripped something awful. I was wondering if the I-Drive system is the same throughout the GT full sussers, or if the system is different in the various models. Any advice, wisdom, etc would be greatly appreciated. Also, If anyone has any parts of the bike lying around (namely the I-Drive, bottom bracket, Crankset) that they would like to unload, please let me know.
