2014 GT Timberline.. Upgraded from a hard forked 12 year old Specialized HR..

The Surtour forks are "eh".. but they have a "lock out" feature so on roads and sooth rides I just lock them. On trials and rough(er) stuff I unlock them and go.. The 29in wheels and 24spd drive train make a huge difference, as do the disc brakes..

Whoa. What tires are those? Look like cheapo eBay fixie tires, or something better? Either way I like it

They are cheapo eBay tyres indeed :-) £17.50 for the pair. Just for a bit of Martian fun! Normally running the Schwalbe Kojak as you can see in earlier posts. Get ready for cheapo tyres no.2...................

    i-Drive 4.0

Here's the other ride. Immaculate. Rock Shox Judy suspension painted white. Plenty of upgrades, fast as hell. Also sporting the novelty Sweetskinz tyres until I get the Blue Panaracers on. This is my second i-Drive now, I deeply regretted selling my old one.

Really are superb bikes. If you've never ridden one I highly recommend :-)

^ That Zaskar is the reason I love GT's so much. You can't ride that without standing and staring at it for a few hours before you get on, and then they ride like nothing else! :-)

Big GT fan, it looks like maybe I'm not alone...

Here is my '93 Karakoram. I've upgraded many of the parts over the years. I want to put a dynamo hub on it. But I had to get a new chain and cassette:

This is the wife's '99 Rebound, not a lot of upgrades. I had to get it a new chain and cassette as well, boo!

    Fenders (wife no-likey):

I have a couple of other GT's, I will try to get and post up some pics. One is a '95 Ricochet (purple) and a late '80's Outpost (super hot -splattered Orange)

We just each put on a set of Michelin Country Rock tires on, not sure if we like them yet or not. They are much quieter than the originals (Ritchey Z-max, WTB Velociraptors)

I do have one photo handy:

    This rig rocks! Nice!

I scored some fenders and a rack yesterday at the local collective. I also got the new chains and cassettes installed on both of the bikes.

I'm pretty excited, I found a new killer LBS that stocks the SP Dynamo hubs and has a great selection of the B&M lights. Their prices are even competitive.

Kind of a homage to the bike above:

Got this refurbished from a LBS several years ago. Anyone able to tell what year it was originally made?

    GT I-Drive Team year: 2001

I just finished a $400.00 paint job on my bike. I made it look like a bad ass version of Team I-Drive....

Hi, just a quick question does anyone know if I can fit a tapered fork to my 2012 gt sensor using a 44mm headset?
