    Peace 9R & Maxxis Ardent 2.4

I'm looking to replace the front, stock Nevegal. Want to try an Ardent 2.4 for alittle suspension, but concerned about fitting the stock, rigid fork. Has anyone else been successful? Plan to run it tubeless.

    Thanks,
    JD

I ran Exiwolf 2.3s at pressures as low as 18psi on my Peace 9r before I sold it and I never had a problem with clearance. I ran those low pressures in the winter for riding on snow and ice and it worked perfectly. I don't have too many pictures showing tire clearance, but I have two that may help you out.

I think the 2.4s should clear just fine, and if not, return them.

    It fits.

Got the 2.4 mounted up with a tube for now.

Got the first ride on the 2.4 last night. All was good. Ran it at 25psi with a tube. Just enough cushion to not beat me up and didn't feel like it was squirming in the turns. Still have a Nevegal on the rear, but planning to replace that with an Ignitor.
