Max Fork travel on GT I-drive 4 1.0 / Marathon

    Hi guys

    What's the maximum size fork I can put on a GT I-drive 4 1.0 / GT Marathon?

Having to cut costs and get rid of one of my bikes and/or frames. Playing around with different ideas.

    Thanks.

I wouldn't go more than 120mm. It's supposed to have a 100mm stock and I'd stick to that unless you want to experiment with more travel, but the handling will change.

    That's what I thought

At the moment I have a 100mm manitou fork (originally came with a RS J4 80-120mm) but I see that the Marathon are coming stock with 120mm fork.

I have a Marz All Mountain SL on my other frame and was wondering if 130mm would be too much. I would then sell that frame and the missus would get the rest of the good parts.
