    Marathon flexbone/dogbone modification ??

Seeing how the flex/dogbone on Marathon frames are prone to fail eventually...and replacement for them is hard to find it seems...has anyone tried to fabricate a replacement or make an improvement on the design?
From what I've read, if that part was designed to fasten with some sort of rotating design that fastened parallel to the movement of the frame...it would greatly decrease the rate of replacement and/or failure.Looks like an interesting project to work on.I'm thinking.....

I wish GT had designed the marathon dogbone the way the Sanction dogbone is designed.it's a real bummer to know at any moment...
    SNAP!!!
    ...Ride over.
As soon as I can figure out how to fix something...I'll post up.
it's the only real bad thing about the frame...the creaking is bad...but this is far worse IMO.
