I recently purchased a GT RTS and started overhauling it. First I removed the shock (no oil and no N2). The rear suspension movement was very sticky so I removed the rear triangle to re-lube the pivots. But I was unable to do that. After I detached the rear, I found what looked like a pivot, but I was not able to remove the metal part. It seems to me that this metal part should rotate in the bushings, but I could not remove it by tapping it with a hammer. It wouldn't budge. Also, looking from the inside, I didn't see a gap suggesting that it is a 2 piece part requiring removal from the inside out.
Of course it is nice that the bushings are tight But how does one go about servicing the bushings?
