    Caution;  Merge;  Workers Ahead! GT Force complete disassembly for maintenance

    Hi there,
    I have been googling around but seem not able to find any decent piece of info on this.

    I have a 2008 GT force 3, and IŽd like to disassembly to clean it and relube it completely.

    has anyone done this? any help or pointers, links?

    Thanks, I took a look in the link, but didnt find anything truly useful, I found an excellent guide in the Force / Sanction reference forum though. =)

    This helped me. Page 6 of the GT Sanction and Force reference thread, one of the members here put up a great photo tutorial on how to service the pivots. I had a creaky, cracky Force, and with disassembly, careful cleaning and a good greasing with Phil Wood, my bike is totally silent. This should be the only proprietary part of the Force, all other parts like headset, bottom bracket etc, can be found online, such as the Parktool site. Hope this helps.

    Thanks nat I already ordered the bits an pieces to follow that tutorial! I hope I can get away the creakiness.

    Somebody mentioned the installed some orings also to prevent more dirt from getting in. Have u used them?

    Does anyone know the size for these orings?
