fox float 36 160 fit rlc on a Gt Distortion?

As above I have a line on a kashima float 160 fit rlc , it's a new take off and I can get it for 400$
too much fork for a distortion?
I am 190 plus gear btw on a med frame.
Will my geo be bad or should I lower it to 150…
    Right now on a 140 Marz 44.
I Ride enduro style always, climb up ride down..
    North shore trails..

The weight is a bit more, but no big deal. Its going to affect you on the climbs, but shouldn't be terrible if you know how to climb a longer fork.

Get it, put it on and try it. At $400 if it sucks you can just sell it and make your money back, ya know?
    Stuff.

I checked the specs on my marz rlo44 is a little over ¼ lb heavier than the fox 36. Im thinking Ill drop it to 140 or 150 depending on how it feels at 160mm. The fox is in cherry condition so its more of bargain also allows me to run a 20mm axle instead of qr . I also have a line on some new old stock mavic cross trails for 250 or used crossmax sx with 2.4 rubber queens mounted tubeless for 400 not sure what I am going to do yet. My cross rides are taking a beating and want a stiffer front wheel , just had to fixed my free hub with a hub doctor pro kit.

Pfff. Just buy my Industry Nines off me, and you'll have a mega stiff wheel.

I'd say rock the fork and see how it feels. I doubt it will be as plush as the Marz, but at that price if you hate it you can flip it easily enough.
    Stuff.

fox float 36 160 fit rlc on a Gt Distortion?

Well I went and checked out the fork and it was in very nice shape, So I now have a very shiny kashima 36 float fork. I and going to take to Suspensiowerx and get it lowered to 140 and serviced..
Now to get a 20mm front wheel…Lookimng at crossmax sx wheel no too wide no to skinny at 21 internal width. Right now I'm using cross rides that 19 internal and I find they need higher pressure than 26 or else's they are squirmy.

Finally got a 20mm front wheel , the fork now lowered to 140 is sweet. Stiff , lighter than my old my old rlo44 and way more plush...
