    2014 release?

I'm looking at picking up a Zaskar, but don't want to be the guy that buys the last full-price 2013.

Does anyone have an idea of when the 2014s will become available?

Also, I see there are big changes to the FS bikes, can we expect similar from the hard tail?

In all seriousness, its a hardtail. What sort of radical changes do you seriously expect can happen?

    New price points
    Higher trim level available
    Different fork
    Good sram build avail.
    XX1
    Different fork

There is more to a bike than the frame.

Being able to buy a 26" xizang(or any high end bike/frame) in the US would be a major change.......

What does this have to do with a zaskar or a release date?

My Experience is that GT releases functionally late. While bikes are "available" starting in August, actually being able to get hands on one is usually closer to December.

Blog Hogs, I love your tenacity. GT should send you a 26 Xizang just out of how hard you are trying to get one. I commend you bro.

Yep, there's big changes on the FS side as they redesigned the suspension... they haven't done much to the HT in a while except put stupid size wheels on them.

theres' no such thing as a good sram build...oh wait there is, it's called shimano...

and the only good thing they could do would be to make the 26in xizang available to actually buy.

I'm actually feeling excited for 2014 Avalanche! Hate how GT releases their bikes in the later part of the year.

I am just hoping the price point on the Sensor is not astronomical.

Got word that the Zaskar carbon hardtail is only going to be available with a Recon fork at the "elite" build level.

Guess I'll get another SCOTT Scale 930 or 730 then. I was hoping to be able to EP something and save a grand, guess not.

Seriously not everyone wants or needs full-suspension.

    ooooooooooooo!!

too bad I have spent my bike buying allowance this year (or the next few)

but then again, the 2012/13 26in xizang was on the website as well, and see how easy it was to get those.

I think GT might have missed the boat, I think the few people outside of asia who wanted one, either somehow got one not through GT or gave up and bought something else.

    Still want one though

I haven't got an allowance to spend really but my credit card is already groaning in anticipation...

XX1, RS Sid World Cup offset, Enve wheels... And I'm even toying with the idea of putting a dropper on it...

Those xizang's are on the intenational version of the site. You will still have to head to the back alleys of Asia (via google and with no help from GT) to find one.The only catalog that has 26" is riteway/Japan.I have yet to see a medium for sale anywhere.

Yeah well I think the GF might kill me, gave up on getting a 2012/13 and got a 96 shipped over and built up, but also bought my road bike and when that broke, just said screw it and bought a whole new bike... don't think another bike would go down well.... but then again, I could put the whole thing on here visa, wouldn't even make a blip and she might not notice...maybe.
