    2001 GT i-drive - What Shock/Stroke

What shock length and stroke do I need for an older 2001GT i-drive frame?

    6.5" x 1.5"
Stupid, but sometimes witty. Occasionally brilliant. Slow and fat though.

    Specialized sucks dong

Is it a regular I-drive? If it's a Team or Race frame then you need a smaller shock. I think it is 5.75 by 1.25
2009 GT Marathon Team,GT Force 2.0, GT Jelly Belly TT (nude carbon), and a very special Todd Wells Zaskar.

It's the regular I-drive. The length is definitely 6.5 I just couldn't remember the stroke. It's an old bike I built up back in 2002. My brother took it out and liked it a lot but he's a little heavy for it and it's 250psi max. We were going to look for a used shock to replace the Cloud9 that is currently on it but there's no need. A little birdie at CC said the C9's unofficial max psi is 295 and we would be good running 275psi in it.
