    2000 GT rebound seatpost size??

So I recently bought an all stock 2000 GT rebound. Literally nothing had been changed on this bike other than the tires. I've upgraded the crankset, replaced the BB, and would like to change the seatpost but I can't figure out the size. I haven't been able to find any specs online and using my caliper I can't tell if the diameter is 27.0 or 27.2.

Anyone have any idea on seatpost size?

Damn! That exact model and year is what I'm looking for!

It's possible that the seatpost is actually marked somewhere on it, it may be very faint. If you clean it real well and hold up to the light you might spy any markings on it. Up until then a lot of the GT seatposts were 26.6mm, but I imagine they changed sizes with the aluminum tubing.

If that happens to be a 22 inch frame, if you are ever interested in letting go, I'd be interested. That year and model is literally the only aluminum GT that comes in my size and is the geometry I prefer.
