Noob question: What is trail etiquette on Turkey Mountain when it's wet and muddy? Are ruts a problem out there during wet weather? Do you let it dry out for a while or just go for it?

Wait a day or two. Not much of a nature preserve, so mud rides aren't a travesty. It's usually a quick drying trail except for a few uncovered spots.

I'm sure somebody would get mad about riding in the wet but were not on dirt bikes. Thanks Federline . I love that bike

Kind of what I was figuring. Can't be too many spots out there for water to collect.

    Thanks!

defintely a few spots on the main loops that can hold some water.

also a lot of wet roots that like to slide wheels out from under you as well

They've started clearing the land with bulldozers over on the south-western corner of Turkey (it is a private lot). It is the area contained by 61st/75 and just west of Pipeline road/back to the ymca property.

f'n rubbish if you ask me - RIP 'Old Boys'

It looks like they are clearing it all (sans big trees) just to the immediate west of the pipeline trail up to the northbound exit to 75 and it is yet to be seen how far back to the YMCA they are clearing yet

pretty sure enough people have blazed through the clearing now that you should be able to make out a path to reconnect to '75'

    Turkey Mtn Riders

A short native american male that is a bit hippy-ish in appearance has been spotted on the Ho Chi prying up rocks with a metal pole and throwing them off the hill. Riverparks was notified and said if you see this individual committing said acts to contact TPD as it is considered vandalism.

no thats a lot of people that do that, as the original trail is that quick switchback between the trees

Im getting tired of moving those logs that's a great trail to work on flat corners at speed but that switch back is to congested I kinda like blowing past it and sliding thru the next turn. If you guys would leave one log at the start and finish of the short cut that would be awesome I can just hop em and Cruz on thru
