Spending some time outside of Joplin MO

    Hello

I will be around Joplin for 2 weeks coming up. Where can I find some nice trails? I can probably travel 2 +/- hrs.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

    Cheers

Joplin is about an hour and a half from some very good riding in NW Arkansas. Slaughterpen in Bentonville, Blowing Springs in Bella Vista, Hobbs State Park in Rogers, Lake Leatherwood in Eureka Springs are all very good...especially Blowing Springs and Lake Leatherwood.

You're also about 2 hours from Lake Keystone and Turkey Mountain in Tulsa which are also very, very good...especially if you prefer rocky and technical. There's good stuff in Springfield, MO (SAC river trails) and Branson has a new trail system thats pretty good too (White River Valley).

There's a very short trail system in Joplin off of the Frisco Greenway trails and there is a trail in Neosho, but its crap. Just head to NW Arkansas or Turkey Mountain in Tulsa and you'll have a great time. Hope that helps

Unfortunately nothing around Joplin. I did get to ride by Springfield on the Sac River trail
which was pretty fun. Lots of tight and really fun single-track! Just a little too short.

Probably too late for you now but the nearest quality trail is Bicentennial in Neosho.
    What, me hurry?
