So I looked at the website and none of the race links go anywhere. Where can someone find out more info about these races on the web?

Most of the events haven't been permitted yet by USAC. You can go here: USA Cycling Events Search - USA Cycling to find the event flyers when they become available. There are only two TdD races up, so far. It depends on the promoter, but info and pre-registration is usually available a couple months to a couple weeks before the race date.

Tell us about how you all race for money? How many riders show up for these races, and how big a payout is usually expected?

I thought you were moving up to Cat 2 this year? So If I show up to one of these I gotta compete with you?

You people are absolutely rotten influences on me. I've just purchased my USAC license and filled out my TdD Registration form. Looks like I'll be joining the ranks of the 30-39 Cat 3 group at Round 2 as well as most of the other races.

That will be quite the challenge. I usually curl up on the ground and start crying WAY before I'm in puke territory.

It's not part of the TdD YET (maybe next year), but come out and ride the Fool's Dozen race on April 6 as part of the April Fool's Mountain Bike Festival in Medicine Park, OK. Register by March 7 to get the right size shirt at http://www.signmeup.com/97775

Hopefully everyone has a sense of humor. I'm fat, out of shape, and a lousy rider. And that's just on the flat and downhill stuff.

McLoafin - I def need to come see what those trails are like. Unfortunately the event is just before Ouachita and I need to be saving my mulas for that weekend!

Any info on the race at turkey next weekend? Looking into doing cat 3 20-29, was wondering if its worth the drive from Lawton. Figured it would be a good reason to go explore some new trails.

the 3 loop encompasses most of the area, but sticks to main trails. Half the lap (5mi) is a climb and then finishes up on the last leg of the Super D, so super fast. Not technically hard, but will make you hurt.

the 2/1 loop on the otherhand is fun to ride, brutal to race. rocks rocks rocks

Anyone on here doing the Lake McMurtry Madness race tomorrow?

I'll be there for the Trek 2015 Lineup trials, to go try out the bike of my dreams before I buy it. LOL.

I'll be at the tent out there with my lady.

    Anyone else?

Also, what's the best way to get there from the Midwest City area? I just moved here not too long ago, and haven't been there before.

    Thanks gents.
