    Nebraska I80 trails

Driving through Nebraska on I80 to visit family for thanksgiving, are there any trails along the way that might be dry and rideable at that time of the year?

I just got stationed here in Nebraska and I haven't been there yet, but Platte River State Park is only 10 mins from I80. I heard they have some pretty fun trails.

Ooo, Potters Pasture. I havent heard of that one. I'll need to look it up for sure.
Not sure if your still in the area but check out Platte River State Park if you have not already. They have some pretty good stuff.

Gonna necro this post because I have the same question. Are any trials in NE or IA off I-80 open yet this year?

Cottonmill Lake SRA northwest of Kearney and Branched Oak SRA northwest of Lincoln are two spots I hit when driving through NE from IL to CO.

Not sure about their status, though. Not the most exciting but something to do.

Most trails near Omaha are g2g. Jewell Park in Bellevue is fun, flowyou, with fast climbs and decents. Walnut Creek in Papillion is one of my favorites. Very easy trail with a couple fun sections. Easy little 30-45 minute lap. Very nice area- dont have to worry about your vehicle getting messed with. Tranquility is fun but everything is kind of spread out. People love Calvin Crest just on the Iowa side of the river. It is the oldest trail around, fast, hilly, and flowy. One intense jump/ downhill line.

Omaha is g2g as of today. It's been a very dry year. If it's warm it gets a little greasy as the frost comes out of the ground- mornings should be fine.
