A couple of dates to keep in mind for online registration..
Date #1: Thursday, September 26th - A reminder that you must register online at USA Cycling by the evening of (9/26) to guarantee a shirt in the exact style and size you prefer. It's simple, when you register online - just choose long or short sleeve with the pull down menu, and then choose your size. Select quantity of 1 and you are set for the Bob Matthew's designed Mullet shirt.
Date #2: The online registration will close a week from tomorrow on Thursday, October 3rd at 9 pm. You'll have to be content with whatever shirt size and style we have left in stock on race day as we will do a mass order by getting a set amount of shirts in various sizes and styles.
Date #3: Not to worry, day of race registration will still be available on 10/5, but why not save some money and register online for the pre-registered discount?
Did I mention Sam Auen - as in Mr. Tacopocalypse - will be there serving up the post race grub? That's right! Sam is certainly famous in the cycling community for his myriad of appearances doling out mouth watering taco fare to the masses - be it at the Cumming Tap, Farmer's Market, or now in his new East Village restaurant! Checkout his place here...
Tacopocalypse | Devastatingly Good
Did I mention Indianola's own Outside Scoop Ice Cream will be there with many flavors to tickle your tummy? That's right!
Mr. Joe Doering is a former opera voice student star of mine who likes to compete in Tri's (that's okay, I'll forgive him for that) and has created his own small business in Indianola. Check out this video to watch Joe make a batch of goodness and think about how good this will taste post race...
