    Kelley Branch Trail

Finally got a chance to ride the new trail at Finger Lakes State Park north of Columbia. I was really surprised. Wasn't expecting such a challenge. THe trail starts out with a tough climb up a hill with lots to twists and turns and exposure. The trail then starts to feel like a big pump track. Almost all of it is bench cut into a steep hill and at times you feel like you are way to tall. I think I used all of my mb skills to stay on the trail. My only complaint was a Z shaped bridge crossing, not sure how you are supposed to ride that one, LOL. It's north Missouri so not a lot of rocks. Even after a rain, it was in great shape, lots of leaves on it though. There are some really steep climbs and sometimes just when you think you've hit the top, it makes a 90 and keeps climbing. What I rode is called the South loop, really hoping there's a North loop soon! Here's a pic of Joan of ARC on the trail:

    What, me hurry?
