    Heading to OKC in July....

So I grew up in Edmond, but that was before I was into mountain biking.

We're moving from AZ to the East coast and stopping in the OKC to see family. Any trails worth hitting? Wife and I will both have our bikes. I know it'll be hot, but it will seem cool compared to here in Phoenix. lol

Most likely date is July 12-13....

    Thanks in advance fellow Okies!

Lake Thunderbird trails east of Norman are the bomb, there are trails at Lake Draper and a couple of other places in the metro also. Thunderbird is the only place I consider worth the drive from Tulsa. There are trails out by Keystone Lake near Tulsa and the trails at Turkey Mtn wilderness park are worth the trip if you like rocky and technical.

Sounds like Lake Thunderbird it is then. We'll be staying 1-2 nights in Edmond and I won't be able to get away from long.
