    Wireless Cadence

I'm looking for a wireless computer I can use on the road as well as the trainer, that does cadence and distance.

Have been surfing for a while with no joy.

    Wireless Cadence

There are lots of options. Get an ANT+ speed/cadence sensor (~$30-60) and add an ANT+ head unit. This could be just a dongle for an iPhone (look at wahoo for ideas) or all out with a garmin edge unit. Bontrager makes a few ANT+ head units that are somewhere in the middle in terms of price.

    Basic Head unit:
    Bontrager: Node 1.1 (Model #09586)

Basic sensor: Garmin GSC 10 Speed/Cadence Bike Sensor: Garmin: GPS & Navigation

    Iphone Set up
    The dongle
iPhone Cycling, iPhone Running, Low Energy ANT+ Wahoo Key by Wahoo Fitness
+ the Garmin dongle or you could get a Wahoo sensor
Wahoo Fitness Wahoo Cycling Speed/Cadence Sensor (Wahoo Fitness WFSC01), Wahoo Fitness iPhone Running and iPhone Cycling Bluetooth Smart Products

This combined price is a bit more than a wireless bike computer, but most wireless bike computers are not strong enough to transmit from the rear wheel. ANT+ will.

I actually like the idea of the ANT+ dongle to an iphone so that you can access your data and have it automatically stored in a web-log. If you want to skip the dongle, there are bluetooth options that work too.
