Tutorial for making trail maps for your Garmin GPS with GPX2IMG

I've had a number of questions via e-mail about doing this recently and figured it'd be helpful if I just wrote a tutorial for average folks to use. There's a really in-depth tutorial at GPSFileDepot for making things like topo maps. While that method will work for this and be more customizable, this way works for folks who are not map/computer geeks.

I've been using GPX2img for several years now to create Garmin map overlays.
(Also provide Google Earth and DeLorme Map overlays (Magellan to come).

My current map covers 211 trails/paths/routes and over 2,000 miles of trails.
Not that large of a map file. Even have designed a different line style to display the tracks in any of the Garmin track colors.
