Is there an app for that? (Shuttling incompetence)

So I'm trying to figure out the most efficient use of cars for uplift capacity on a great ride which has start and end points some distance apart. People keep on opting in and cancelling and it got me thinking I can't be the only person who's had this problem.

So, does anyone know of an Android or iPhone app that can work this out for you??

We've joked about this in the past.
Need to know the number of people, bikes, types of vehicles, rack capacity, dogs, when to bring your keys, where to leave a jacket, ......

Maybe a university course "Shuttle logistics 101".

No, I doubt there's any app that will help.

It's a little simpler when you're only shuttling canoes, but start out with smaller shuttles with less complicated logistics and nail that with practice. Before long, you'll be able to handle more complicated logistics with more vehicles, more people, and funky situations.

It's kinda like the "wandering salesman" problem where you have to pick the most efficient way to visit a series of locations. To my knowledge, no computer is as good at figuring that one out as the human brain, and it's even challenging for us.
