    Sources for GPS trail data

What do you all use for GPS trail data? I know about Trails.com and similar fee-based services. Are they any good? Are there decent free sources out there? Good sites for people upload and share tracks?

    Thanks.

    I use MotionBased and GarminConnect

Without being the best, they are sufficient to share and find new trials to ride.

MTBR was working to get a GPS repository integrated with the trail reviews some time back. What an awesome collection that would be, with all us mountain bike passionate gps geeks!

It seems to have fizzled out though.........

That said, Motionbased has the biggest world wide collection. I am using Garmin Connect exclusively, waiting for them to migrate all the Motionbased data over to it.

I have had great success finding tracks on Motionbased. I simply download the .gpx file, view it in Topofusion, then upload to my GPS if it was I was looking for.

One advantage that I've found to Connect over MotionBased... you can do a search based on a map view (ie, use the google map interface to show the area you are interested in, and then search for tracks within the the displayed map area). WAY easier than the MB search engine. Still not a whole lot of tracks, though.
