    Is Siri Worth $200?

I'm thinking about an Iphone to track my activity, routes and help me out when I miss a turn (get lost). Websurfing, games e-mail: I still have a dumbphone w/o any of that so of no importance.

I've noticed that it's tough to get a GS lock in my Pisgah Forest area. Will GPS be a worthwhile take along?

I read that the Iphone4, which is FREE, has an upgrade GPS capabilty over previous models. Does the Iphone 5 have better capability to justify an $200 Pricetag? Even with Siri?

I don't know the differences between the different versions of the iPhone, but to respond to the question in your title, I would not pay $200 for Siri. I have it and never use it. If you can get what you need w/o paying $200 for Siri, I say go for it.

    Is Siri Worth $200?

The iPhone 4 has Siri. It's a function of the operating software and not something built into the iPhone 5.

It's useful if you want to use your phone while driving a car.

Only the iPhone 4S has Siri - the regular iPhone 4 certainly does not.

And that said, Siri wouldn't be worth an extra $200 to me alone. My wife has a regular iPhone 4 while I have the 4S. I never use the Siri function except as a short-lived party amusement.
