Need help setting up my garmin edge 510!

Hi everyone. I just received my Taiwanese Garmin Edge 510 and just came from testing it. It is awesome and connects to Satellites real fast but I was not able to get any meter/distance reading during my ride! I don't have a cadence sensor bty! Was this bc I never hit the timer button or bc I did not setup bike profile completely?

I don't know the exact weight of my bike but I know it is around 22-23 kgs (I know it is heavy lol but I will do some upgrades in the future to lower the weight! It is a Cannondale mountain bike!) I know my wheel size is 26 x 1.90 but on Garmins manual they do not have this size for Edge 510's wheel settings!!! They have 26X1.95 listed on the manual!

What is the correct numbers I have to punch in the device for 26 X 1.90 wheels? Odometer show 0.0 and crank lenght has nothing! What should these numbers be?

Bty, What is set elevetion and mark location options? I know it has to do with altimeter but do I have to do any adjustments to these as well?

I just want to set this thing up correct so I can get as close to accurate readings as possible. Thanks in advance.

Need help setting up my garmin edge 510!

You must press "start" for it to display and record distance.

Because it is GPS setting wheel size is unnecessary.

The trouble with common sense is it is no longer common

In the future, there's a wealth of information in the GPS Forum.
Screw the shuttle, I'm riding to the top. You're all worthless and weak!!!

It should beep to remind you to push start. Even the edge 200 does that.
Although you can set to not beep at all.

Yeah I just dug deeper into this device and found good info all over the internet! Yeah It did remind me to push start but bypassed it as I was trying to figure things out Now I figured pretty much everything except the elevation settings! Thanks everyone...
