    Multiple maps on 705?

I need to have two different mapsets on my 705, one for US roads and one for Canadian roads. But it looks like you can have only a single map file on the 705's memory card. True? It looks like it uses only 1 file name and adding another mapset overwrites whatever is there. Is there a way around this?

Are they both loaded in Mapsource? If so, select one map in the drop down, and then use the map tool to select the segments you need. Then select the other map in the drop down and select the segments of that map. When you are done you can upload the whole thing to the 705.

I have four different maps loaded in my 705 using this technique.

Here is a download for a Mapsource tutorial that I found very helpful.

I have 2 different mapsets in my 705. The only time mine would overwrite is if I was trying to put more data in than the card was rated for. It would delete the first map to make room for my last map to load. You may need to get a bigger card or send less data.

Sounds pretty easy. Thanks, I didn't know you could do that.
