Is the MotionBased.com forum down or gone?

I haven't been able to get into the motionbased.com forums for a few days now, maybe more.
Is that forum moving or going/gone away as a part of the GarminConnect migration?

I get nothing by direct link:
    http://forums.motionbased.com

and also nothing by going to:
http://www.motionbased.com and selecting the Forums link.

Anyone know what gives? Or is it just not working for me?
I don't see any forum access at www.garminconnect.com

    Thanks!

I uploaded a ride yesterday and it has been processing since then. I have not been able to access the forums either so I have to assume the site is down. Hopefully it will be back up tomorrow.

    MotionBased Problems

I've been having issues accessing the forums also.

Seems like the site may be slipping again. About a month or two ago, file uploads were super-slow like they are now and there was a lot of chatter in the forums about the problems. At least someone from MB posted and acknowledged the issue that time around.

Ok thanks - so it's not just me - lol.

As the new owner of an Edge 605 (birthday present from my wife!), the MotionBased forum has been pretty helpful. I do uploading with GarminConnect and Training Center so I don't use MotionBased for data management.

Are there any other forums with good/active Edge 605/705 sections (besides this one!)?

I have a ride still processing from last nite, yet the ride I did today uploaded/processed and hit the digest fine.

    Yeah the forum is down.

Lots of problems at garmin lately.

I am not looking forward to connect--so far I understand there is no public searchable digest (database)--the only way to share a ride is email a link. Pathetic.

Sounds like MB was a victim of its' own success.

Garmin is overwhelmed in an area that it is not familiar with. I'll keep waiting and trying Connect, since it is supposed to be free, and some months (years? ) back they stated it would have all the MB features and more......

In the meantime, TopoFusion is my primary software and SportTracks secondary, there is just no share feature, but I have searched MB extensively for tracks in new areas.

    Their forum is back up.

    Per Runkk:
"As you may have noticed, the Knowledge Base and Forums were down. This is due to a power outage we had here in San Francisco this weekend. We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience this has created. The engineers have and are doing everything possible to get everything running normally once again."

They acknowledge upload problems too, which are being worked on.
