    Max MPH on Garmin 705

Just noticed that recently that when I upload my rides to Garmin Connect that my Max MPH is all out of wack.

It is showing my max speed in the thousands......3420 MPH.

Anybody know how to sort this out. Works perfectly otherwise.

Might be a Garmin Connect issue.

I upload to Geoladders.com as well and it posts normal there.

yeah, I'm thinking this is a GC problem. your speed graph shows no such outlier points. I don't see any track points that are obviously way off (and would create such a seriously incorrect max speed).

Turns out it is Garmin Connect. July 18 update screwed it up. Sounds like Garmin has not acknowledged it as a problem yet.

Turned out to be a problem with Garmin Connect.

Looks like they figured it out. It seems to be back to normal.
