    Maps for Training Center

I had understood that you could add maps to use with Training Center. I downloaded a map called IbycusUSA20 but I'm now stumped as to how to get it to work with Training Center. Is there actually a way to do this or am I dreaming?

If you've installed it correctly Training Center should be able to see it. Drop down box just under the map tab for the currently highlighted ride allows you to select which map to use for viewing your ride.

I believe only Garmin maps work with Training Center. I already had City Navigator and Garmin Topo installed on my computer, and when I installed Training Center, the maps were automatically recognized.

Take a look at the tutorial I linked above. The maps from GPS File Depot are designed to install into Mapsource, and like the Garmin maps, Training Center can use them.

I have Garmin Topo, Garmin City Nav, a CA 20' contour interval Topo, and Ibycus all useable by Mapsource and Training Center. With Mapsource, I can load maps into my 705 or 60CSx.

Thanks for the help. All is installed and seems to be working OK now. I'm a bit disappointed w/ Ibycus - it doesn't seem to be any better than the default basemap. I was hoping to get local roads. I hate to have to shell out for City Navigator. At least things are working though.
