    Issues with Garmin connect

    If your having problems uploading to Garmin connect as I am from my GPS60CSX here is why.

    I emailed Garmin and here was there response.

    "Thank you for contacting Garmin International. I will be happy to help you with this. At this time there is an issue with uploading data from non fitness units to our Garmin Connect site.

    We recommend using our mapping software called BaseCamp. This program is available from our webpage for free as a download. This program will allow you to view, edit and create routes, tracks, and waypoints to be transferred to your device, or that were received from your device. "

    Seems to me Garmin is not the company they used to be.

    I fail to see how you're drawing that conclusion from that statement.

    Use manual upload if you're having problems connecting to the device directly. A lot of websites don't support direct uploads from non-fitness devices AT ALL. You should be downloading your data to your computer for backup purposes, anyway.
