How to switch between Navigator and TOPO on 60csx

How do I switch between City Navigator and TOPO on my Garmin 60csx?

I downloaded both maps of the Texas area from mapsource onto my 2gb card and the city navigator with streets seems to take prescedence over the TOPO maps. How do I switch between them?

press menu, setup map, and then hide/show the map you want

Of course, do this while on the map page. The Street maps take precedence. So just Show the Topo and always leave it that way. Then Hide/Show the Navigation maps to toggle between sets.
It's not slow, it's doing more MTB time.

it slows down the gps if you have more than one mapset drawing, because all active ones draw. It's worth the extra 2-3 clicks to only show the one mapset you want at once IMO.

I always switch by show-non then turn on the one mapset I want to use.

if your gpsr has a basemap and navaids, you could be drawing 4+ passes, and only seeing one of them. blegh.
