    Garmin edge 800

Is it normal on the "where to" page to "locations" page to show garmin Europe and garmin Taiwan, on the list? Why would it show those two continents?

Every Garmin GPS has those places preloaded. You can delete them just fine. They are used when the GPS is put in demo mode for store display purposes.

I wish I could get my 800 POI to show the nearby bike shops. That would have come in handy a few weeks back.
Lead by my Lefty............... right down the trail, no brakes.

You could create waypoints in MapSource or BaseCamp and upload those to the 800 so it'll have the waypoints stored. To make it easier to find in the waypoint list, just make sure to give them some distinctive names.

I need to get waypoints created for all the local trail entry gates and also some of the out of the way water fountains.
