I'm thinking about getting a 705 and with the middle model it adds the speed and cadence sensor. I'm not too interested in cadence but does it give more a more accurate speed reading with the sensor or is the GPS calculated speed better? Thanks!
By default, the unit uses the GPS speed- only uses sensor data when it can't see the sky. I have the sensor, but don't even have it mounted to the bike.
Thanks for the info Mr Bacon Jr. From what I understand, the signal strength is usually good as long as your not in an urban, downtown setting. I think I'm going to go with the lowest model cause I dont care about cadence on my MTB and I already have a 2GB microSD.
