SportTracks isn't supported for Apple. The Garmin software blows. I'm trying out the trial version of Ascent. Are there any other FREE programs that work for Mac?
Smokey, this is not 'Nam. This is bowling. There are rules.
Not everything free is worthwhile. Ascent is frequently touted as the best for mac. But keep in mind there are fewer options on mac so that doesn't mean it is the best possible.
GPS and GIS is really the only reason I use Windows. Mac is not the best platform for GPS

Ascent and Rubitracks are the 2 I know of. I've used Ascent for years and have been really happy with it.
Struggling with the same problem. I've been using Garmin and SportTracks for last six years and all my training data is there. I'm running it via Parallels but it's getting worse year by year.
I across a post today on a local forum that mentioned TrailrunnerX for the Mac OS. It's free - I downloaded it today and messed around with it for a few short minutes. The UI looks nice and full-featured.
I bit the bullet and paid up for Ascent. I'm still learning all the features, but so far I'm not disappointed.
thinkin bout buyin a garmin 305 any likes/dislikes
Not free, but I've been using RubiTrack and like it very much.
