    Garmin 305 and Airport

    For computer experts;

    I come into our walk-in basement from biking, and walk right by the Apple Airport we have for wireless internet. There is a USB port on it, and I can plug my 305 and charge it there, but I can't figure out how to go to my computer and access it, download the info, remotely. The home office is 2 flights up, and if I take it up there I have to remember to bring it downstairs again when I bike. Also there are enough cords and devices in the office without another one. Not a big deal, but it would be really convenient to just leave it near the bike all the time. Ideas? Anyone actually doing this, even with another router?

    Thanks,

    Lew.

    Most Ethernet usb hubs aren't general purpose usb connections. IE you usually need to have a driver installed to hook up a usb device. I've never seen a usb hub for Ethernet that does anything other than printing or hard drive.

    Thanks

    Thanks, that explains it. Would be handy, though.
