Endo'd with GPS 60 csx on the bars... oh no!

I was going pretty quick for heading over the bars, too, but I still had enough time to glance down at the gps and think... 'oh crap!'. To my surprise, though, it simply came out of the holder and was lying on the ground next to the bike. No damage, I was psyched! I did read somewhere here before that another guy did the same thing and broke the antenna off.

I had been meaning to buy some road aero bars to protect the GPS. Dorky for sure, but I ride alot with the GPS, and once in a while taking flight happens inevitably. Now what, buy them or risk another crash?

I had the knob on the back come out, with the steel hardware and all. Ripped clean out, with some plastic to boot. The thing was only 2 months olds, ah well. I epoxied it all back together and its been fine eversince. IMHO that is the one flaw the 60-series has: the button sticking out on the back, the Etrex' are completely confined in their RAM cradle, nothing happening there.
