Can you run Mapsource on a Windows Mobile PDA?

I recently bought a used HP iPAQ with built in GPS and is running Windows Mobile 5.

I'm not overly familiar with PDAs or Active Sync but couldn't find an obvious way of installing Mapsource.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks in advance

No, you cannot. I have an older Dell Axim (no GPS) and to install any programs on it, they need to be designed for Win Mobile. They use a different format than a typical desktop computer. I know there are GPS applications for PDA's (hell, you can do mobile GIS on those things with ArcPad), but I don't have any experience with anything other than ArcPad.

Hmm, ok thanks. Will have to stick with Memory Map and scanned raster maps then...
