    AVenza Map software

Does anyone have full paid version of Avenza map?
the free version can only add 3 free maps. I need to add extra maps from my SD card but it requires paid full version.

Is it worth buying full version?

    Avenza Maps App

    Hi from Avenza.
We just want to take a moment to clarify.
So the full free consumer version of Avenza Maps does not have any limit on the number of maps imported from the in-app map store, even if all you get are free maps. The in-app map store has around 750,000 maps to choose from of which the majority are free.
The 3-map import limit only applies to maps loaded from sources other than the in-app map store so indeed, if you have some maps that you obtained elsewhere then you may hit the 3 map limit on those. You can remove that limit with a $30 in-app purchase.
We are always working to expand the map store so if you have a source of maps you'd like to see available in the map store please send an email to avenzamaps@avenza.com and direct us to them.
    Thank you
    Avenza Maps

I'm happy to pay for software but $30 for a geoPDF reader is way too expensive. I've completely moved away from Avenza. I used to advertise it to hundreds of riders by using it as the vector to release our race maps, but have gone entirely to Trailforks for that. And for my own geoPDFs for field work or trail recon, I've found an alternative app.

Avenza website show price $38 a year which is too expensive. Avenza use trail forks maps which cost money. Trail fork app is free and it's maps are free.
I can get topo map on my regular Garmin outdoors gps.

I just don't see benefits of using avenza app
