    Anyone used a Mavic Wintech?

Anyone have any experience with the Mavic Wintech computers?
    The Ultimate in particular.
I have had trouble with wireless Cateye computors being unreliable.
Now use a Cateye Enduro wired which works great but has limited functions.

Need bike functions, Heart rate and altimiter.

I won a Wintech computer with the optional wireless cadence sensor. I set it all up however consistantly forgot to bring the manual with me to set it up. After a few times of going out on the trails like that I took it off and sold it on craigslist.

However, I hated the way the sensors mounted to the bike. Both the front and cadence sensor (same physical dimensions) mount horribly to a fork and I'm pretty certain in any mountain biking situation you'd eventually knock the sensor into the spokes.

The magnet for cadence that goes on the crankarm was also suspect. It was just a round magnet with double sided tape on it that would attach to the part of the pedal that threads through the crankarm. It's probably as stable as the zip tie + double sided tape that Garmin uses on my current sensor. Possibly more so because it had a strong magnetic attraction to the steel spindle of my pedals. If you have titanium spindles not sure if that would work.

    Cool Thanks that helps.
Sounds pretty much like most computers in the setup department.
    Thanks for the input!
