Anyone use a GPS and go back to a regular computer

I think I am going to go back to just a regular bike computer. No real reason other than I want to get away from the obsession of tracking everything online.

    Just Leave it at home.

If you already have a computer seems silly to buy another. If you don;t want to see your info online just don't upload it

I often use both, or used to but my little bike puter got smashed and a crash and I haven't bothered to replace.... I do like the instint read out of the little computers on the bars (i'll never put a multi hundred dollar unit on my bars.. asking it to get smashed or stolen.. or lost)

I do find wheel based read out to be much more accurate in the woods that any GPS. at least for Speed/distance anyway.

got to get a new one.

also found the cheapo wired ones are better than the fancy over prices wireless units. oh and lighter too...
Going to try and bring Trail Tire TV back. go take a look... http://trailtiretv.blogspot.com/

I used my smartphone for a while, then got a regular bike computer. Way more accurate and less hassle.
