I have been using the Trails app, and I like it. It seems to keep as good of a track as my riding buddies dedicated GPS.

I use Motion X GPS and use the RAM iPhone mount. You have to pay for the App but it looks great. Check out their site, http://news.motionx.com/category/motionx-gps/ .

+1 for Trails but this one also looks awesome. Speed, distance, calories and altitude and a live GPS map as well. Called b.icycle. Just bought it:

Now just need to find a good mount for the phone. Any ideas?
