    XTC Composite convert to 2 x 10

    Hi guys

I ride a 2012 XTC Composite (26er) which according to Giant's site has a bottom bracket of "86.5mm shell accepts press-fit style BB only" It is currently fitted with a XT 3x10 crank.

2 queries I need to seek advise on:

    1. To convert to a XTR 2x10 M980 crank, is it a direct fit? Can I use back my existing bottom bracket?

    2. If I were to use a SRAM XX 2x10 GXP Crank, can existing bottom bracket be used? If not which bottom bracket would I need to get?

Came across this althought it says BB86 but its for 83mm shell width - wiggle.com | SRAM BB86 GXP PressFit Team Bottom Bracket | Bottom Brackets

    Thanks in advance!
